Who is Wolfgang Rolff?

His career as a football player can be better described with pictures than with words. Here he raises Champions League Trophy, which he won with Hamburger SV in 1983.

Another mile stone in his career was winning  the Europa League with Bayer 04 Leverkusen in 1988. The club's greatest success to date is linked to him and will remain in the history books forever.

Wolfgang also tied his shoes for the DFB (German Football Association). 37 appearances, the 1986 World Cup in Mexico, where he became Vice World Champion, and the 1988 European Championship in his own country were the highlights of his national team career.

Even after his active career, football was retained in another function. Nowadays most people associate him with his time at Werder Bremen, where he worked successfully for almost 10 years alongside Thomas Schaaf. Other stations were SV Meppen, VFB Stuttgart, Hamburger SV, SGE Eintracht Frankfurt, Al Salmiya Club, Hannover 96, and Shandong Luneng Taishan.
